Polystyrene Safety
Polystyrene Safety
Is Polystyrene Safe?
-
Polystyrene plastic is an inert material – meaning it does not react chemically (or breakdown) when it comes in contact with other materials or substances around it. For example, you can store water, soap or gasoline in a plastic container without dissolving the container itself. That’s one of the reasons it’s such a valuable material.
-
Polystyrene is developed in strict adherence to stringent regulatory standards. With a firm endorsement from FDA for safe use in contact with food, our polystyrene resins are not only versatile, but embody the highest standards of health and safety.
-
We go beyond compliance by ensuring our resins are free from toxic substances.
