AmSty Joins American Chemistry Council

The Woodlands, Texas– August 20, 2018 – The American Chemistry Council (ACC) Board of Directors approved AmSty as a Regular Member during its meeting in June. “AmSty already plays an integral role in producing sustainable products that enhance everyday living,” said AmSty President and CEO Brad Crocker. “As members, we are now aligned with the ACC in demonstrating the sustainability of science-based solutions for a larger audience,” he added.

ACC President and CEO Cal Dooley said, “As our membership continues to diversify, it allows us to better demonstrate that chemistry is the science behind sustainability, from the technologies that enable clean, safe drinking water, improve food quality and enhance crop yields, to the clean energy resources that power energy-efficient vehicles, homes, and businesses around the world.”

“For AmSty, we hope our partnership with the ACC will help share the message of our PolyUsable™ technology, which allows recycled items to return to their original applications over and over with identical properties and performance,” added Crocker. In addition to ACC membership, AmSty is now a participant in Responsible Care®, the chemical manufacturing industry’s leading environmental, health, safety and security performance initiative.
