Laura Tibodeau
Chief Information Officer
Laura Tibodeau is the Chief Information Officer for AmSty. She was appointed to this position in July of 2013.
Laura joined Compaq (now HP) in 1989. During her 20 plus year tenure with the company, she led the development and implementation of Compaq’s first enterprise data warehouse, the deployment of SAP across Asia, the systems acquisition of Tandem/Digital and various business operations and strategy organizations. Prior to working at HP, Laura worked at Texas Instruments and IBM.
Laura has served on various collegiate industry advisory boards and served as a featured speaker for IMF, SAPPHIRE, SAP for Chemicals, and STEM forums. She currently serves as the chairman of the American Chemistry Council/ChemITC Cyber Security Committee; participates in the Chem ITC CIO organization; serves on the governing body of Evanta; and is a member of the SAP Chemicals Executive Advisory Committee.
Laura received her Industrial Engineering degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 1986 and her Master’s Degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in1991. She is a licensed professional engineer within the state of Texas and a U.S. patent holder.
